The Misty Thicket Story
Deep in an old English forest lives a curious family. The sounds of children playing blend with the steady thrum of sewing machines. For years they have dwelt here, creating beautiful clothing for a lucky few. On the wall of the home is set an old faded picture of an elderly Englishwoman with her sewing machine. She learned the Art of sewing from her mother, and she from hers, and again back to a time immemorial. It is this tradition you will find proudly performed deep within the wooded enclaves of the Misty Thicket...
Well Met and welcome to the Misty Thicket! Testimonials
- Dear mistythicket
Hi! Thanks so much! The craftswomanship is superb! I think I should say that every dress I have with similar sleeves--are uncomfortable. Your dress is wonderful this way, I expected heavy-feeling in the sleeves--NOT! I'm a dress fanatic, and this one is hands-down, my favorite! I hope you have a shop on etsy.com too! You are amazingly talented, I can't wait to come back! Thank you...

- Hi Telena
I received my leine today. It's fantastic. You did a beautiful job. Thanks.
Thanks, also for the tam. What a surprise! I won't hesitate to mention you to all my friends.
Sincerely,
Dave Peters
- Got the Buchanan's Pirate Pants yesterday. THEY ARE AWESOME! And they got here FAST too. The material is perfect and they are even better than I expected. Thanks again.
Johnny Roberts
- I just wanted to email and let you know that I received my blue linen Scottish tam in the mail a couple days ago, and I love it! Much higher quality than the standard tams you see around at Renaissance fairs, the kind that are never big enough to fit my big head! Lovely tam, looks nice on my head, and goes great with my Great Kilt. Thanks again!
