This classic "Jacobite" shirt is made from a sturdy, period accurate, natural osnaburg. It is durable, comfortable to wear, and will perfectly compliment your Renaissance persona.

The shirt is very roomy and should fit all but the largest lads. The sleeves measure about 19” long from the underarm seam to hem, and the shoulders are wide and roomy. The sleeves are finished off with reinforced cuffs, placards, and natural grain buttons. The length from back of the neck to bottom hem is 33” long and it measures just over 58” around the chest.

The neckline features a Mandarin (stand-up) collar with period accurate button hole lacings. The laces are wrought of a double thick layer of matching material. All seams have been serged and the hems finished to provide you with years of wear.

A pair of trews rounds out the basic outfit. Whether you are farming, fighting, or feasting, these peasant pants are smart and durable and will stand up to every abuse you can dish out. You can wear them over your footwear for common comfort, lace them over your legs, or 'blouse' them into your boots for a 'bout of fighting or a day of riding.

The waist is an adjustable drawstring designed to fit 30-48 inch waists (but we will custom tailor waistlines to fit anyone). The inseam is available in 32, 34, or 36 inch sizes and can be rolled, cuffed, or hemmed if necessary. All seams have been serged and the hems finished to provide you with years of wear and tear.

As THE universal headwear of Medieval and Renaissance Europe, biggins (head cap) are indispensible for men, women, and children of all ages. Much like a sock, the biggins was layered under men's and women's headwear, or worn alone for comfort and to keep the head clean and free of hair.

Our biggins are made of medium weight cotton muslin, making them breathable, comfortable, and easy to care for. These "hats" may be worn by both M'lord and M'lady with comfort and style! Our traditional and durable biggins will be the perfect crowning touch for virtually any European period costume!

The caps are one size fits all. Simply tie them tighter or looser as required. All seams are serged and finished. These biggins are machine washable and "should" be hung to dry.

The finishing touch is our short jerkin. Made of a durable Cotton Twill, the material is supple but remains stout enough for the most active adventurer. The Jerkin is lined and all seams are hidden and nicely finished. Several grommets down the centre offer additional durability (as opposed to button holes which become worn after time) with leather lacing adorning the front. The Jerkin falls to the waist (not the hips) and will fit almost anyone. Taken together we are sure you agree, the effect is both charming and functional!
