The original Roman tunic was made of a heavy crimson linen, a material we highly recommend! It is soft and comfortable fabric to wear in any weather and is the perfect color to hide those battle wounds! As standard Roman issue, this tunic is a bona fide addition to your Latin persona. Our tunics are equally at home on a principes soldier's back or with an praetorian's adornments! Research your colors and manifest your intent! The tunic is made in 100% period accurate heavy linen (5.3oz weight). The sleeves measure about 12" long from underarm to hem, and the shoulders are wide and roomy. The length our short tunic (pictured) varies by height from 42-47" long (back-of-neck to bottom hem). The long tunic measures from 50-56".
