Lady Sasha's Gored Overskirt

Good Day Lords and Ladies! A basic item of every high ladies wardrobe is the cotton skirt, and we have the PERFECT overskirt to match! Whether you are a noble or a washerwoman, the overskirt (pictured to the left in black) is beautiful and durable and will add versatility to your wardrobe. You can layer it with another of our skirts and tuck a bit into your belt for a saucy peasant/wench look or pair it with a decorative underskirt to create a gorgeous noblewoman's gown. As you can see from the pictures, the overskirt is full enough to wear over a hoop (140" circumference) as well and would look striking on its own.

The waist is a grommeted closure that is threaded with a durable matching grosgrain ribbon. The waist is made to your measurement and will be hemmed to your desired length. Be sure to include your color choice and your overskirt waist and length with your payment at the end of the auction. This overskirt is 'gored', which means it narrows toward the waist so there is less fabric to bunch up, but is still nice and full around the bottom.

The swatch card (pictured below) shows all the rich and beautiful colors this overskirt is available in. The fabric is an easy to care for wrinkle resistant heavyweight cotton, so you can simply machine wash it when needed.
