Commoner's Winter Cloak

The cloak is full enough to wear over a bodice or doublet, but not so voluminous that you have to struggle with large amounts of fabric. The shoulders are fitted to prevent the neckline from sliding on you and is fastened with a sturdy organic clasp.

This winter cloak comes with a deep, lined hood that is designed to hold its form while remaining supple. The cloak is made of a beautiful coat-weight wool and may be accentuated with your choice of a smooth satin, heavy twill, or authentic linen lining that will glide over your attire and provide additional warmth and comfort. All seams have been serged and finished and the inside neck edge expertly hand stitched to last for years.

In different time periods, cloaks were worn at different lengths, but as a general rule of thumb they should never drop below the ankle (especially for walks along those muddy pathways).
